Today (18 Oct 2014), Mr. Sirawit Traph-enok, a veterinarian from the Conservation Area Management Office 2 (Sriracha), Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, reported progress in helping a male baby elephant, approximately 1 year old, who wandered into a village in Tambon Pawa, Amphoe Kaeng Hang Maeo, Chanthaburi Province on 17 Oct., and found a snare around the right front leg.
